Kurt Baumer - Project Engineer
Kurt Baumer, P.E. is a 2007 graduate of The Ohio State University with a degree in civil engineering, specializing in structural design. Kurt earned his MBA from Wright State University in 2012. Throughout high school and college, Kurt worked on the construction crews under Ben and Jerry, building homes and businesses in the area. He rejoined Baumer Construction in 2010 after gaining experience designing heavy industrial and big box retail structures.
Matt Quinter - Project Engineer
Matt Quinter, P.E., P.S. graduated from the University of Dayton in 2003 with a degree in Civil Engineering. In 2008, Matt obtained his Professional Engineer’s certificate, and in 2012, his Professional Surveyor’s certificate. He is new to the company in 2012, and currently leverages his skills as a Professional Surveyor to offer a very cost effective and valuable surveying service in combination with our building and engineering expertise.
Darin Schroeder - Project Designer
Darin Schroeder graduated from ITT Technical Institute with an Associate’s Degree in Architectural Engineering Technology. He started at Baumer Construction in 1993 where he specializes in creating working drawings using AutoCad.
Sharon Holthaus - Controller
Sharon Holthaus graduated from International Business College with an Associate’s Degree in Accounting. She began working at Baumer Construction in 1997.
Craig Moeller - Superintendent
Craig is a graduate of Marion Local High School. Craig began working at Baumer Construction in 2008. Craig oversees construction projects and coordinates all on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to plans, schedules, and safety protocols.
Zach Niekamp - Superintendent
Zach is a Superintendent with Baumer Construction. He has been with the company since 2015. Zach is a graduate of Versailles High School and Ohio Northern University where he graduated with his degree in construction management. His day-to-day focuses include ordering material, talking with sub-contractors, and working in the field.
Sara Holthaus - Administrative Director
Sara oversees the daily operations of the company's administrative functions and coordinates office operations. She has been with Baumer Construction since 2018.
